Notes:
1. To avoid the situation where the label machine cannot be turned on, the adapter and AAA batteries cannot be used at the same time.
Please pay attention to the installation direction of the positive and negative poles of the battery. Incorrect installation will also cause the label machine to fail to turn on.
In some areas, the adapter cannot be turned on. It may be low voltage. You can try to use 6AAA batteries to test whether it can be turned on normally.
2. To prevent the label tape from getting stuck, make sure to extend one end of the label tape (about 2 to 3 cm) out of the outlet of the label machine before printing. Do not press the cutter during printing. If you select "Open Cut" in the settings, the label machine will prompt you to cut after each print.

Here are two ways to save more labels and avoid excessive waste of lead edges:
Adjust the margins to "Narrow" and multiple edits to print different labels at the same time (up to 55 different labels).
Select "Shift + Print" to get multiple identical labels (up to 9 labels), which is more efficient.

Tips:
1. Power turns off when trying to print
The battery may be low, try replacing the battery.
Make sure the battery poles are pointing in the right direction for normal use.
2. Blank horizontal lines appear on the printed label
There may be some dust on the printer head - remove the tape box and gently wipe the printer head up and down with a dry cotton swab.
Or insert the print head cleaning box to make it easier to clean the printer head.

We offer distinct return processes based on the reason for your return. Please read the following sections carefully to understand your rights and the procedures for returning an item.

1. Your Right to Return Defective or Faulty Goods (6-Month Warranty)
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, if any product you receive is defective, faulty, unsafe, or of poor quality, you have 6 months from the date of delivery to return it. In such cases, you are entitled to a full refund, a replacement, or a repair of the item, at your choice. We will cover all costs associated with the return shipping for defective items.

To be eligible for a defective goods return:

  • The return must be logged within 6 months of delivery.
  • The item should be returned with all parts and original packaging where possible. We understand that discovering a defect may require opening the packaging or breaking a seal; returns for defective items will be accepted even if opened.
  • Our inspection must confirm the issue was a manufacturing defect and not caused by customer misuse, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.

2. Your Right to a 'Cooling-Off' Return (Change of Mind)
In line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act for online purchases, you have a 7-day 'cooling-off' period. If you change your mind or ordered incorrectly, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return for a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a 'change of mind' return:

  • The item must be in its original, as-new, and resalable condition, unworn and unused. 
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, with all original tags and accessories included. You may open the packaging to inspect the item, but it must be returned undamaged.
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Important: There are no handling or restocking fees for change-of-mind returns. You will be refunded the full purchase price, as the law grants you the right to cancel "without penalty."


3. How to Start a Return
To initiate any return, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit our dedicated returns portal: pmctechlife.returnscenter.com.
  2. Enter your order number and the email address used for the purchase.
  3. Follow the prompts to select the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.

Once your request is submitted, we will review it. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting and receiving authorisation will not be accepted.

4. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
Please note that for 'change of mind' reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Gift cards
  • Custom-ordered or personalized items
  • Items specified as non-returnable for hygiene reasons (e.g., roll-on products, clothing, and personal care goods).

This does not affect your statutory right to return any item (including sale items) that is defective or faulty within 6 months of delivery.

5. Specific Product Notes

  • LCD Screens: To prevent damage during installation, we strongly recommend that our LCD screens are installed by a qualified professional technician. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under the 6-month warranty for manufacturing defects. If you believe an LCD screen was faulty upon arrival, providing an invoice from a technician can help expedite the assessment of your return claim.
  • Spare Parts: Spare parts products cannot be returned if they have been installed on a mobile phone and are found to be working after installation. This does not affect your rights if the part was defective upon arrival.

6. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have following the process above. Once the return is accepted and processed, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

7. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved based on the policy conditions. If approved, we will issue the refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

8. Cancellation Policy
You can request to cancel your order by emailing us at sales@pmcjewellery.co.za.

  • Before Shipping: We can only guarantee cancellation if your order has not yet been shipped.
  • After Shipping: Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you wish to return the order, you must wait to receive it and then initiate a return through our portal. Such returns will be treated as 'Change of Mind' returns.
