40A Thermostat Dual Electric Cooling Fan Wiring Harness Kit(12V)

1. Red wire to 12VDC positive battery terminal, brown wire to fan forward, black wire to sending unit, gray wire to ignition. Direct replacement part, fits 10, 12, 14, and 16-inch cooling fans.
2. The temperature switch turns the fan on at approximately 185°C and off at 175°C.
3. The temperature sensor has 3/8-inch pipe threads and a 1/2-inch adapter. Please note that to use this kit with this temperature switch, you must run a 160-degree thermostat. If your thermostat is higher than 160°C (for example, a 180-degree thermostat), your engine will not cool enough for the fan to shut off.
5. The temperature switch is OE style and mounts to the engine cylinder head. The temperature switch must be grounded to the engine through its threads to operate, and the engine must be grounded.
6. This relay kit is sufficient to operate two medium or low-profile cooling fans.
